The Ursuline Primary Teachers' Education College, Chandrapura, Pakur came into existence on August 8th , 2007. The establishment of a primary teachers' educational college was an absolute necessity to meet the educational needs of the State of Bihar (now Jharkhand). So, in order to meet the growing needs of young women of Santhal Pargana, the college was established. It is managed by the Ranchi Ursuline Society and is administered according to the provisions of Article 30 of the Constitution of India. Every year 50 students are admitted.
Ursuline Primary Teachers' Education College, Chandrapura is an affiliated Educational Institute by Jharkhand Academic Council. It is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Bhubeshwar. The intake is 50 students per Year. The examination is conducted by Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi.

Vice-Principal Message
Ursuline Primary Teachers’ Education College, Chandrapura is established, run and managed by the Ranchi Ursuline Society. It is a Cristian Religious Minority Institution, established and administered according to the Provisions of Article 29 and 30 of The Constitution of India. It was inaugurated on 9th September, 2007. The college provides a foundation for teachers to develop the skills and helps them to cultivate empathy, understanding and a commitment to social justice.
Our college is situated in a quiet place away from Hezel and Bezel of life. It is the Co-Education Training college in the history of our congregation, which denotes the uniqueness of this college. In the presence of youth, the atmosphere is active and alive. The college is going to complete nearly two decades of its service to a thousand of young men and women of Jharkhand. Many Trainees have qualified CTET, JTET and are working in private and Government sectors.
Our faculty are committed and extend our constant efforts to help our trainees to be integrated persons and torch bearers for the future generation. We enable the to stand in the world respectfully to face the challenges of life, to recognize the human dignity and to contribute in building up the nation.
